Assessment Manager for Coaches

Challenge

A client needed an efficient way to create, assign, take, and analyze assessments and survey results for their coaching practice. The existing manual processes, which involved using different systems like NetSuite and outlook, were inefficient. The main challenges included:

  • Manual Processes: The reliance on different systems required significant manual effort to manage assessments and surveys.
  • Fragmented Systems: The use of multiple systems led to data being scattered, making it difficult to consolidate and analyze information.
  • User Experience: The existing systems were not user-friendly, leading to frustration among coaches and clients.

Solutions

To address these challenges, a comprehensive web application was developed by Softcial using Angular for the front end and Azure App Services as the service layer. Key features of the solution included:

  • Angular Front End: A modern, responsive, and user-friendly interface was built using Angular, providing an intuitive experience for users.
  • Azure App Services: The service layer was implemented on Azure App Services, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure backend operations.
  • Integrated Assessment Management: The application enabled the creation, assignment, taking, and analysis of assessments and surveys within a single platform.

Outcome

The implementation of the web application resulted in several significant improvements:

  • Elimination of Manual Processes: The application achieved a 100% reduction in manual processes, as all functions related to assessments and surveys were consolidated into one system.
  • User-Friendly Interface: The modern and friendly user interface enhanced the user experience, making it easier for coaches and clients to interact with the system.
  • Data Security and Consolidation: Storing all data in one secure system improved data safety and made it easier to analyze and derive insights from the collected information.
